You lost me on the first bit. That's not an assumption really is it? Now come on...that's a whole 360 paradigm change! The "writing" always gets me too. I've always appreciated cave drawings as a form of writing or rudimentary communication, albeit in pictogram style. The oldest found is around 40,000 years old in Spain. So is that where the Garden of Eden was....?  Drawings are not written records. They do not tell us what happened. There is evidence of human life older than 6,000 years. But evidence is not proof. The universe cannot be 6,000 years while at the same time there were people before that time. If this universe is a virtual reality, then it could explain the contradiction. I would suggest that they tell us exactly what was happening at the time and what the focus of those who drew them was. The first line of your "evidence", in fact the first couple of words in that tell me that it's not evidence at all..."In Genesis...." Ergo no evidence definitely means no proof whatsoever. Sorry, next!
