I HAD TO PIN THIS.... HOW TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF THE MAN TRYING TO TAKE OUR GUNS!

OK, so you know how the dems are coming after OUR guns...

And you know how many Sheriffs across the nation are mad as hell and basically threatening civil disobedience...

Here is my unbelievably crazy idea that would probably stop this in it's tracks:

Many Sheriff Departments have "reserve officers". These are citizens who volunteer their time (varies by department) to help their community by riding with a full time deputy. These reserve officers are "FULLY DEPUTIZED" and therefore must be paid $1-year. The typical commitment is like one night a month.

They are basically "on call" to aid in a crisis... but when they are called-up they carry as much legal weight as a full time deputy. Therefore they are afforded any and all rights that a deputy is... such as the ability to possess certain firearms "at will".

So if these Sheriffs were to allow any person who could legally be deputized to then join the Sheriffs reserve... The problem would be solved...

The "good guys" would still have their AR-15's and SAIGA's...
The "bad guys" would not consider joining... and if they tried, their backgrounds (felony, assault, robbery, etc..) would exclude them. They'd be left to the devices of the Federal Government. (A VIOLENT FELON MAY NOT LEGALLY POSSESS A FIREARM ALREADY)

The second thing this would achieve is to establish a well armed and maintained militia. You know... for the defense of the Constitution and country. So we could have a multi million strong citizen army ready to protect America.

Lastly, the Sheriffs could get together at the state level first and establish reciprocity between counties so a "deputy" in one county would have the right to travel armed to another. Then the States could all get together and form a similar pact.

Of course there will be places that decide to sit this out and these areas would become as if they were toxic to the "deputies". People in these toxic areas could move out to a safer area and once residency requirements were met they too could choose to be deputized.

People living in safe areas who are mentally ill and want to be in a gun free zone can move to the toxic cities and be shot at by guns that don't exist because they were banned.

This way, everyone is happy! Obama gets to play dictator to NY and California and the rest of the US prospers because the sane people have moved to safe areas.
