Tense calm in Egypt after 10 killed, 500 injured in anti-Morsi protests

By Saturday morning, 10 protesters had died and more than 500 were injured in rallies against Muslim Brotherhood rule and President Mohamed Morsi which swept across Egypt Friday, the second anniversary of the Tahrir Revolution. “They stole our revolution,” shouted demonstrators in Cairo’s Tahrir Square as protesters were thrown back trying to storm parliament. Security forces used tear gas, rubber bullets and in some places like Suez live fire to break up disturbances in Alexandria, Ismailia and other cities. Morsi plans a TV address to the nation later Saturday.
