I just read in another thread about Bromate (a chemical compound containing bromine) was added to Dasani for "taste profile" in the UK... Twice the legal limit, thus it was recalled and is not sold there anymore. My question is, does the US have a "legal limit" of Bromate/bromine? Do they add that "taste profile" to US Dasani? I don't drink bottled water, but my mom does and I'm concerned. Everyone is so caught up in how bad Fluoride is that they're over looking Bromate/Bromide... And my guess is that it's in a lot of drinks.. Not just Gatorade and possibly Dasani.
