I think they should have tougher screening, as in if you've ever had a domestic violence charge, a battery charge etc. no gun for you. I really don't think it's fair that we lose rights because of a few idiots, but that has been the prevailing trend since 9/11. I am of course a conspiracy nut, so I do question many issues revolving around the gun issue, however, I don't really think what they are proposing does anything, it's already a law and they are adding a few things to it. But, there has been a startling trend toward taking away our rights, one by one and quietly, so I do have the thought in the back of my mind that IF they were up to something, than this would be a good start.
