I remember that day, the breaking news and so much footage that wasnt on youtube. There was video from a helicopter, on an overpass of some sort lookig down at the situation, where there was an ambulance and emts attempting cpr on someone, bodies off to the side and the stretcher, and the blue tarp that is usually used to hide people so others cant look was cast off to the side. This was just a few seconds long, and then in my opinion the cameraman realized what he was looking at and quickly switched to anything but that, yet i think the tsunami was rght there at that moment.
i watched the dsicussion on the various channels about fukushima, wih experts and pictures, graphics etc, the plan to vent. Seeing a nuclear reactor building(s) top explode really drove the point of meltdown. Radioacive water leaking, partial melt through at the least. The people who kept working there, saving so much by doing anything they could.
We arent done seeing tsunamis and 8+ magnitude quakes yet. There is the zone that goes from Tokyo to Kyushu, and there is The Cascadia region which has been very silent.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9821449 very BRAVE, and poignant statement from japan.. ty....
