Minneapolis is not the only place that they're doing this -- this is also happening in Virginia as well. In our case, it's a tactic to get more money out of the citizens (or should I say surfs) of this state. But I suspect that just like Minneapolis, cities in Virginia are collecting data as well.

I guess the next step will be checkpoints to keep you from freely traveling city to city.
