If he's a beloved president, the unemployment rate is really under 10%. The numbers are fudged and then fudged some more. Here's a glimpse at his 4th year performance approval. They are for both his own party and the opposition 5 full points lower than GW Bush's 4th year in office. That was used because it was the year the parties were most solidly divided over GWB.
