I know what you are saying and agree. Unfortunately, you can't make sense to morons or those with entitlement issues.

Government should not be in the business of education because they are nothing more than indoctrination centers. So true. That is why homeschooling is on the rise. And government was never really in the education business. All they wanted was the 'serfs' to be able to read and write some in order to work in their factories. They really never wanted them to think. Government schools are really working over time to dumb down the population. They are getting most of them on welfare now which means they will control them even more.
