Anybody else eating alot of chocolate/candy/sugar lately?

Ditto. I made homemade chocolate pudding day before yesterday, loving every cold, creamy spoonful! This morning I woke up and made homemade arborio rice pudding with lots of cinnamon, dates and figs!!! It's still chilling and thickening, I can hardly wait!!!!!

What is this?? Craving sweets...???

Strange this subject came up.
I'm pushing 60 and have lived on meat and potatoes all my life, then a couple months ago I start craving cake , cookies and ice cream. I've never eaten sweets till recently. Strange.

YES...and it sucks. I just want to eat cookies and I usually do not have a sweet tooth! But lately...it's awful. I just want chocolate or cookies...
I try to substitute with yogurt, but it's not the same. I'm not a sweet eater.

Yes. Craving chocolate more than usual...and brown sugar is not safe around me, and vice versa. About an hour ago I was thinking about making a brown sugar and butter sandwich. I resisted.

It's been so bad that I've actually thought about how I'm going to have to have a game plan change, and start baking with coconut sugar and oil. At least that way I won't be killing myself with the likes of the Lethal Chocolate Brownies I made earlier this week. Oh boy, but they were good.

It's not just the sweets, though. I'm just hungrier than usual.

I think our bodies are going through changes - as is our natural environment - and we are needing more fuel to manage.

By the way, doesn't a Red Velvet Cake sound oh-so-very-good?...

Been eatting vanilla icecream and strawberries for every meal last 3 days, doom on!

Red Velvet cake,.. see there is another thing, I used to hate them. Now they are my favorite cake. My daughter in law and I have a secret conspiracy going, to see who brings home the best most sugar-laden confection, LOL.

that stuff is killer material

just two little strips of chocolate are the equivalent of a chicken curry and rice

a full bar, something like the large Dairy Milk's you can get on garage forecourts here, is the equivalent of 7 medium burgers, WITH the buns

since i found that out, i haven't touched the stuff.
