Its to try and manipulate the paper price of Gold to try and scare people either from buying it or forcing them to sell it. The whole world is turning into a Gold vs Fiat currency battle. If Gold is allowed to rise it will show whom is not wearing clothes. Thats why it is priced in paper.

The natural and healthy inflation created from the fractional lending system has been suspended. (this money they cannot steer or direct) The printed money is steerable and is being directed into the balance sheets of the fiancial instruments that they hold their generational wealth in (banking system)
They are throttling the economy through injection of this steerable money into the market and public entitlements and then extracting it through higher energy and food prices.

The economy is being put on hold because if we combined these two money creation methods the dollar would hyperinflate and be dead in a week.

I wonder if the pluunge protection team has a weekly limit on how much it can juice the markets? For example they can have two 'outstanding' days per week, two 'good' days per week, but they must leave one day with minimul involvement unless it is an emergency or a naturally green day that can be juiced. :D
