Inside a freakin Bed Bath & Beyond, in the middle of the day. Just goes to show you really aren't safe anywhere, ever. But it pisses me off to no end that he wasn't held for psychological reasons after torturing that cat to death, and that such a clearly disturbed individual was free to walk among us and ultimately to stab (over a dozen times!) an innocent woman shopping with her infant. And, they don't tell you this in this video, but the guy in charge of animal control for the county was keeping an eye on this sicko and SAW him earlier that same day standing outside the same Petco where he adopted the cat he killed, eyeing customers threateningly, and told him to leave but never contacted the police. I'm sure he's feeling a bit guilty about that right now, as he should. But bottom line, we need to start taking animal abuse and mental health issues more seriously. Sickos like this guy should not be free to terrorize the rest of us. It is a well-known fact that most killers began with animals... |

For example, Jeffrey Dahmer was known to regularly torture animals. From the sounds of it, this guy had a known history of animal abuse and that was a warning sign. |
