How many single people have resigned themselves to be single for the rest of their lives?

Lost my partner to Facebook Fantasyland. Ended up in a womans shelter on the low income housing list. I trust men about as far as i can throw them now.

Count me in. I've been alone for 6 years now and I know I will always be alone. Too much drama out there for me to consider dating.

I'm 36 and I think I will be single all my life because I have a small penis (around 5.5" when erect).

Although I'm confident with women, I freeze if they start to make sexual advances. I think I might be fucked in the head because I was bullied for so many years.

Absolutely! And that is why I fought so hard to keep my daughter off it when she was in 6th grade and all the girls started using it. I even sent out a group email to warn the parents. I couldn't believe it! I knew where this would lead. It has not been good for her and I knew it would not be. So sad.

Today she is a strikingly beautiful gentle girl who has such low self esteem because she wasn't as perfect and popular as the groups she would stare at on that damn Facebook.

Yes, it can be, it depends on where you are in life. It was nice for a few months. Now it is lonely. I don't seem to have the motivation to find another partner.

LOL LOL LOL Facebook. Not all us broads are on facebook. Never ever been on facebook. OK opened an account so I could see pictures of my Neices and nefs but only done so less than 10 times in many years.

I am single and don't care either. I am very capable and do everything required around my Mountain Top Farm without the assistance of a man. If I need help from time to time then I hire someone but its not very often.

I am not the usual female either. I run Equipment. Plumb. Carpentry. Frame. Build whatever even weld. Tom Boy Forever.

I just turned 49 and have been living on my Mountain Top for 13 years by myself. I never worry about anything. Not Scared but have 5 big German Shepherds.

I find most men aren't men anymore. Don't know how to be the Knight in Shining Armor. Actually most are lazy and looking for a mother for their children from broken relationships and somebody to look after them. I would not mind that so much but most of the Men these days don't know how to do anything. No Skills.

Makes it hard when you can do more than they can and most men don't like that. They want helpless females even if their helpless themselves.

Funny I got a German Shephard too! Just adopted her from the SPCA! She's a little bit too much dog for me though. She is so strong. I have to train her as she is very very sweet, but pulls me down the street when I walk her and it's very embarrassing!!!!

I think embracing singlehood is the best thing that society can do now days. It will allow some soul-searching and personality building. Sex and romance have become so bastardized, reductive and filthy that chasing those things is like a death wish. No wonder why tptb think they can reduce population.

I almost thought the same thing but in the end loving someone is a pretty awesome thing. I broke up with the woman I wanted to spend my life with and I live in LA. Women in LA are different creatures thats for sure but I dont think you can blame fb. Times are changing but there are many different factors here. We are all evolving at a pretty rapid speed but I think tech in general has more to do with it than fb. Most women I date can give two shits about fb and even talk shit about the people who spend so much time on it. I am leaning more towards the Gene Simmons way of life, I would rather be happly unmarried to a woman than married. Also I think what is changing womens mind more is the fact that all of us especially those of us in our late 20's and mid 30's both women and men have seen one divorce after another and it becomes scary for women to think of it and loosing the man they love or visa versa. Marriages just dont last anymore and there seems to be a stigma attached to it. At the end of the day we are all afraid of being alone weather we want to admit it or not. Me personally, I would love to be able to grow old with someone I truley loved. Im crossing my fingers but I might be getting back together with that very woman again. I hope I do but if not than I will keep searching and definitely keep fucking.

Those of us who didn't grow up with this on TV see love in a better light I believe. And we always will. It is part of us to want to snuggle and kiss and smile with another human.
