I remember my mother telling me how fortunate I was to wear a suit to church. Her mother fashioned her Sunday clothes out of burlap potato bags during the depression. I just gave you all another hint.
These were the clothes his disciples dressed in, how many times has this been over looked? The importance serves both antiquity and modernity.
Quoting: ParadigmShift Like this OP? Quoting: Neim-Ya'shar Yes but the signifance is another thing. His disciples were clothed like this why? 1. Humility 2. Meek There is no specify order. Just think about Sack and cloth. Think about his disciples and what they were given. Quoting: ParadigmShift A death and submission of the fleshy desires followed by prayer and fasting? Quoting: Neim-Ya'shar Try not to over think. A sack holds things it is a container. Sack cloth as were potato bags were common, but it takes someone crafty to fashion it into a garment, nowadays. Their clothing was a container of knowledge, because they were the chosen representatives of the Kingdom of Heaven. Sack and cloth. There is much more to this lesson. So we have 1. Humility 2. Meek 3. Knowledge
