Coast to Coast / Art Bell / Help me figure out a song!

I'm listening to fineartstream.com which plays a continuous stream of C2C episodes from the past and the current one playing is from May 29 2004 and the topic is Climate Change with guest Robert Felix. Near the beginning of the show, even before Robert came on there was a song which started with an angry/demonic sounding voice stating many things, then the song started up as this voice faded away and the lyrics sounded kind of in the distance if you get what I mean. The only lyrics I could make out were something like "Take me away", (I do know this is not the song by the same name by "blue oyster cult"), other lyrics sounded like "take my place" or "to a place". It was a male singer. I've found songs by the same name or which included these lyrics, but so far none have sounded anything like this one, and they all seem to be by a female singer.

Anyone able to help me figure this out? Maybe you have access to archived shows and can pull this one up?
