I think you need to consider the possibility you are deceived as well if you have surrendered to the idea of an evil being (or consciousness) working against you and others in such a way. It is my belief or interpretation that to truly deceive the masses, one must go to the source of their master and distort 'His' words and actions. Easy to do with a Bible, written by man. The biggest lie we've digested is the fact we are not capable of good, or we are inherently evil. This is a lie that is overcome by knowing oneself and accepting that all life cannot be categorized in such a way. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy, in other words - a choice.

Besides, what do you have to fear, but God? If that is your truth. I think perpetuating fear of a boogie man or giving attention to this misinterpreted idea of Satan only gives power to it. I suppose I may be doing the same by addressing you, when others are simply scoffing and making their judgments. I digress.

I only caution myself and others to walk lightly and not disturb the waters with too many details. Keep it simple and we can live by a simple truth. Walk with honesty, charity, and love. The rest is meant to confuse and deceive you. Read between the lines and you'll see the greatest deception we have comes from our imagination of what we believe "God" to be. Walk with humility, not assumption.

You'll catch more flies with honey than with vinegar is all I'm trying to say. Why not teach about kindness? What authority do you have to speak of the 'Heavens' when you haven't been there? Religion helps us become acquainted with the idea of a higher power, but it's no excuse to become self-righteous and pretend to know Christ or how another dimension or place works entirely. (I think that's actually in scripture, when he talks about people coming to his door, but he tells them he never knew them. Think about it.)
