I think that most of America has changed less than people believe. If you venture into flyover country, away from the left coast, the I-95 corridor, and the ghetto cities of the rust belt, you'll find an America similar to what you remember.
The problem is the LMSM. In order to push their left-wing agenda, they portray the secular-Progressive dream of a post-American social democracy as reality, a fait accompli. They also do this in the schools, teaching the children that the America of the 50s is a racist-imperialist memory on a mouldering historical trash heap.
It is none of these things.
Do some traveling into America's heartland. The great American land of opportunity, of family and community, of faith and tolerance, is still out there.
The American Dream lives. It just doesn't sell newspapers or commercial air time as well as secular-progressive nihilism.

While the LMSM portrays conservatives as a few stragglers desperately clinging to a disappearing past, the opposite is in fact true. National Democrat electoral victories are not a result of the voters deciding the Dems are winning the debate. This is false. They are the result of segments of the population voting themselves money from the treasury, and, for the last two Presidential elections, minorities ADMITTEDLY voting on the basis of race. For evidence of this, you need only look at the strong showing Republicans made in state and local elections in November. Republicans now control both the legislature and the governor's mansion in 23 states, nearly twice as many state capitols as suffer from one-party Democrat infestation. It is Democrats who are actually losing the debate, and will have a much harder time for the near future gaining ground. However, the LMSM and its tactic of "argument ad nauseum" (repeat a lie enough times and people will believe it) have a very corrosive effect on the truth. This in turn will definitely continue its corrosive effect on liberty if allowed to continue unchecked.
