I have recently been looking into the mass production of food and the tricks used for profit, my findings are fucking outrageous!

Example 1. (google 'pepsi Senomyx')

A widely used food additive is called HEK 293 and is labeled only as 'flavor enhancer'.

When added to the foodstuffs it tricks the brain receptors into tasting salt and sugar even when it is not present, this allows manufacturers to meet sugar and salt health regulations whilst not compromising on taste and consumer satisfaction.

NOW THE SHOCK.

This food additive is comprised of human cells from the liver of aborted babies mainly shipped in from China. Now do a search and see how much of it you have consumed, it is used in millions of products.

Example 2.

Pig swill in Denmark is raw human sewage, a cheap readily available source of fattening protein.

It's no wonder that Danish bacon has cornered the bacon market by being able to manufacture it so cheaply and offer it at the most competitive price.

Example 3.

Calves are fed cows blood as a milk replacement, another cheap readily available protein.

I won't go any further although there are far more shocking food facts out there, but as they can be so offensive I feel it is better to raise the issue so those who are interested can discover and less strong stomached people reading this will not be offended.

Senomyx however seem to have derived some of their research from Human Embryonic Kidney cells derived from an aborted foetus from the Netherlands in 1972.

So it seems there is some tiny piece of distorted truth in this. Interesting thread!

are eating only vegetable foods, since they especially will be adulterated too.


(Soy products in one post to remove bitter taste, Gatorade etc is not a meat product.)

So simply removing meat from your diet may INCREASE

intake of HEK 293.

You are paranoid. I checked out the snopes page on this, my info is from there which seems reputable and includes some quotes from scientists on the topic. I am not an employee of some sinister Soylent Green producing corporation - hell I eat and drink plenty of mass-produced food myself so am obviously interested in just how bad the additives can get.

Just yesterday I was in the cafe at Tesco and asked for a burger on a bun. They asked if I wanted anything on it. I said "Yeah, £5 each way"

lol... I wouldn't have a problem eating horse if I knew it was horse to start with rather than these buggers sneaking it in their food products. Kangaroo tastes quite good also - pleasant gamey taste.

Was watching a bit of skynews the other night and apparently they can trace where a particular animal (even used as a part filler) comes from by the water content in the sample. They have some database of water aquafiers and use this to trace it.

Watch the movie Soylent Green, think it was made in early 70's.

I am healthier than I've been in 20 years after cutting out milk and animal products. Nobody "needs" it. You just need to have the brain power to have a well rounded diet without the various animal pieces they sew together to make a hunk of "edible" meat.
