If you meditate, it would help greatly. You could do a form of meditation to slow your emotions down. After a couple experiences, you will start feeling a fine vibration running through your body. When you feel those, you concentrate on those, relaxing, though focusing on them. Then, you try and 'stretch' out of your body. Another technique is to imagine you are a balloon, and try and inflate yourself to fill up the room.

After trying this a few times, you might get successful and pop out of your body. At that point you'll get real excited, and you'll get pulled back into your body.

Always have to stay calm and relaxed.
