I have a 2.1 macbook that the OS cannot be upgraded to OS Lion.
With one gig of memory, what Linus flavor would you recommend that I try on the Macbook?
I am not going to by a new laptop, even though this one is 6 years old, it is still a solid laptop
Which one(s) would you suggest?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37548323 doesn't matter a lot. one gig of ram should be plenty. just make sure your desktop environment (the graphical user interface, with all bells and whistles) doesn't eat up most of that memory. if you want to save ram, use a lightweight desktop environment (like xfce), or use only a bareboned window manager (like fluxbox)...
