They are intelligent productive people in most areas of their life, but when it comes to certain topic the logical part of the brain has been rewired to think in irrational patterns.

I hear where you're coming from, but most Christians are actually comfy Laodiceans, and they fall within only a couple of different personality types. They don't understand people, or the world beyond their little plastic subculture.

The most recent numbers I saw listed Christianity as the most popular religion in the world, with 2.2 billion adherents. Is that supposed to be the "narrow path" Jesus spoke of?!

I have to pretty much agree with this. I've also noticed that the majority of them are the biggest hypocrites you will ever meet. I know....I was raised in "christian" churches most my life.

There is nothing wrong with Christians other than their book of choice continually portrays GOD as an imbecile who boasts about creating evil and condones, murder, infanticide, the oppression of women, ethnic cleansing, slavery etc.

However, the simplistic but correct ignoring of these things, by Christians & non-Christians alike, has probably been one of the reasons the West became a much more reasonable & tolerant place.

If only they would stop arguing "free will", "hell" and stop threatening eternal damnation on people, they might actually begin to sound reasonable.

But alas that will never happen!

Pretty much what you said. But Christians need tough love. When the Bible says Jesus said beat the slaves, we can't let Christians say he didn't say that. It is a lie.
