Did Anyone Else Hear What Sounded LIke An Explosion (Dallas, Tx)

You are aware that Dallas covers a rather large area?

I wasn't trying to be a jerk....just that I lived there for many years and Dallas is big...so, you'll have to describe what part of Dallas you are in.

I mean N. Dallas near downtown. This was pretty loud. Had the dogs on the block barking.

I see alot of gas explosions in recent news in Gainesville and Lewisville maybe thats whats going on there are investigations right now over this issue

North Dallas near downtown as in Uptown? or Highland Park? I'm from Highland Park but i live in Irving right now, and yeah the wind is crazy

How long ago? North dallas here and all my power went out suddenly and then came back in a minute or so, I would guess this was a few hours ago

I've been hearing booms all day but I'm near Gatesville.

Sorry, got busy with dinner. I heard it a little after 5:00 (maybe 5:06 pm), just before my original post at 5:11 pm CST.

To the question as to what did it sound like... well, it sounded like a transformer blew. Loud, but distant, like it might have been in the M Streets area. It was kind of weird when the dogs started barking- just like in the movies. LoL...

The wind has been howling for 2 days,front also came in so me think it could be a transformer.
