One star for calling our food suppliers greedy and arrogant. Support your local supermarkets unless you prefer to starve

the people who were eating the 'food' from the supermarkets will be healthier if they eat locally produced food. remember it is a big part of the plan to get you eating crap,to eat what they want you to eat. take your destiny in your own hands

the farmers and local shops can give the unemployed supermarket workers a job

Re: Eat local produce, hit the greedy, arrogant supermarkets where it hurts.
I found that for about 10 bucks of fresh raw vegetables, chopped and mixed together in a stirfry, makes me about a week's worth of delicious food (for one person).

Well it may be veggie, but beats paying 10 bucks per meal!

Plus I avoid all the chemical goop in processed stuff, and know exactly what my food is!

I use broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, green/red peppers, carrot, celery, garlic, onion, a hot pepper or two sometimes

Most of that one could feasibly grow oneself on the super-cheap.

So my point is stop buying over-expensive semi-edible mass produced goop from supermarkets!

The Supermarkets work on a slim profit margin vs the rest of the food producing corporations.
So direct your anger where it belongs. The corporate farms and the frozen and pre packaged food corporate giants make huge profits.
Support supermarkets that buy locally grown produce and don't by pre packaged foods.

My grocery store uses local produce as long as it's in season. The key is just not buying stuff out of season
