MSM haven't even touched it from what I have seen. Southern IN jumped 20 cents today...can someone give me an explanation OTHER than inflation?

The reason MSM hasn't touched this one yet is cause they will never call the supreme leader an incompetent ass.

they wont report it because they are owned by all the corpartions of the left wing, who are in charge and don't want thier own platform to look stupid. I also agree with gas prices hitting all time highs for us this summer, im seeing 5 bucks a gallon easy if not more.

two words peak oil. demand is out stripping supply. everything that is going on in the world is shuffling for resources to keep business as usually, comsumerism, from collapse. we are in the birth pangs of the long emergency.

cheap energy has brought us so far forward but we are seeing a waning.

we need to find a new energy source that is as good as oil per unit. nuclear would be good but big oil and coal are trying to suppress that.

iran was hit with sabotge and syria was hit with an airstrike from israel

iran is doing everything to break down opec

if opec doesn't do business in us dollar, us dollar no more reserve currency

russia would be happy to see opec collapse...russia is the biggest oil exporter and if they team up with iran/venuzuela/syria/nigeria all countries that want to see the us dollar go down they can start their own currency

I saw world news last nite (Take this with a grain of salt) that with the increasing China need for gas and the fact that the US is switching its refineries to a "SUMMER" fuel - PLUS there is a shortage in California which leads to higher prices then usual when gas prices should be the lowest of the year>>>>>>>>Usually prices do not rise until the summer vacation time.

I bet the Oil rich elite will have record profits in this quarter as they did last year...

obamas energy secretary made the following statement in 2008

""Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe," Mr. Chu, who directs the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in California, said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal in September.

No ! It is the export of inflation, by paying for oil with freshly printed dollars that they export to the OPEC nations. How do we know this ? They force alternatives to fail like solar, wind and electric cars. The only reason ethanol is allowed to flurish is because when they add it to gas and it makes the gas less efficient, by getting less miles to the gallon, inducing more oil/gas consumption. Also why we have burried, instead of utilizing our Natural Gas reserves.

The reason is:
Exportation/Distribution of inflation to the rest of the world.

Why do you think they keep war mongering with Iran? Because if they put Irans oil reserves on the open market with other OPEC sellers it would crash the oil market within weeks. Hence all the Nuclear bullshit mongering.

Keep lapping up the milk brah !

Our prices in south east wyoming are pretty low compared to the rest of the country...local paper said it's because we have lots of oil and no way to get it to cali etc. But, our prices have risen 40+ cents a gallon in the last week or 2. So that's a bs story to cover up inflation imo. Groceries keep going up too...food and energy are always the first to see inflation, yet aren't included in the governments inflaton numbers. Yet they're the 2 things we all need to survive...

It's pretty simple, OP.

The gas isn't worth more. Gas is gas. A gallon of milk is a gallon of milk.

Instead think of it this way; Your dollar is worth less.

It's called the free market. That means the price is manipulated by traders.

The president has nothing to do with the price of crude oil, unless he starts a major war.
