If it wasnt this dude, it would have been someone else. This girl has evil in her head. I bet she'll run into a lot of trouble in prison.

She truly fits the bill of 'psycho bitch' to me, one that would truly 'stab you in the back'


I dont think the jury is buying any of it. I bet its unanimous and they come back with a quick guilty verdict.

The Mormon church did it and set her up. When I left the church it got nasty....really nasty. People think mormons are pacifist but it's all for show. I'm shocked and always will be they didn't have me killed.

Its hard to believe a single thing that comes out of her mouth. To trash the victim now, claiming he is a pedophile is so sad. Travis did get some words in through the text messages that got presented today. He told Arias to stay away from him calling her a sociopath and crazy person.

I can't wait for the prosecutor to get his turn with her. He hasn't objected to much of her rambling because its all fair game during cross examination. Her lies are going to be exposed.

Jodi Arias..a real piece of work! So love addicted to this man that she becomes a Mormon. She knows he is using her for sex, but believes if she can hold him that way, what's the difference.

She has given three different stories about what "really" happened..

Frankly, I am sick to death of hearing about her sex life.

She will fry, she makes Casey Anthony look like a walk in the park...

Yeah, the man was a POS...but she knew that. It still didn't give her the right to kill him in a jealous rage..and that's exactly what I think she did.

The borrowed 6 gas cans and the gun help to convince the jury it was premeditated, but Casey was guilty so I would not be surprised they let her out too.

Man, the venom coming from some of you folks mouths leads me to believe there's at the least more to this story than we know.

Clearly the media portrayal of the woman has sunk deeply into your freshly laundered craniums.

I've seen such a pic, can't produce it now. You can believe me or not, up to you.

Why did it take 5 years for her case to come to trial?

i fucking missed it... shower, huh? i smell bullshit. by the time i started watching... she was talking about ditching the gun.

apparently arias doesn't remember a lot about the murder, itself, but she could tell you what color socks she was wearing on this very day 5 years ago.

She just said that she thought that "basically my life was over" after she did it. That in itself is admitting what she did. She also admitted that she pulled over and cleaned up and cleaned her car while looking for a phone charger.

This lady needs to get the lethal dose and soon. So sick of these admitted psychopaths sitting on death row for years and years.

It's time to bring back an eye for an eye and maybe some of these people would stop and think of the consequences before committing crimes and/or murders.

Maybe the families of the victim should be the ones who get to determine the punishment.

So here's what I apparently missed re the actual killing:

Arias said that Alexander lost his temper when she dropped his camera on his bathroom floor while taking nude photos of him. Enraged, he picked her up and body slammed her onto the floor, screaming at her, she told the jury.

She ran to his closet to get away from him, and then exited through the closet's second door into Alexander's office where she grabbed a gun that she knew he kept on a top shelf.

She tried to keep running, but as Alexander came after her she said she pointed the gun at him in an attempt to ward him off.

"I pointed it at him with both of my hands. I thought that would stop him, but he just kept running. He got like a linebacker, he got low and grabbed my waist, and as he was lunging at me the gun went off. I didn't mean to shoot. I didn't even think I was holding the trigger," she said.
"But he lunged at me and we fell really hard toward the tile wall, so at this point I didn't even know if he had been shot. I didn't see anything different. We were struggling, wrestling, he's a wrestler."

"So he's grabbing at my clothes and I got up, and he's screaming angry, and after I broke away from him. He said 'fucking kill you bitch,'" she testified.

Asked by her lawyer whether she was convicted Alexander intended to kill her, Arias answered, "For sure. He'd almost killed me once before and now he's saying he was going to." Arias had earlier testified that Alexander had once choked her.

Arias said that she has no memory of stabbing or slashing Alexander whose body was later found with 27 stab wounds, a slit throat and two bullets in his head. She said she only remembered standing in the bathroom, dropping the knife on the tile floor, realizing the "horror" of what had happened, and screaming.

"I have no memory of stabbing him," she said. "There's a huge gap. I don't know if I blacked out or what, but there's a huge gap. The most clear memory I have after that point is driving in the desert."

Arias said that she remembered driving away from Mesa, Ariz., where she had killed Alexander, and realizing that he was likely dead. She said she threw the gun she used out of her window and into the desert and kept driving to Utah, where she was supposed to meet up with friends and a new romantic interest.

"I don't remember anything else after that. I just couldn't believe what had happened, that I couldn't take anything back that had happened, I couldn't rewind the clock," she said.

She committed the murder, no credible alibl. I guess she does not want to talk about it, but now that we know she did it, the burden is on her.

She failed to meet it so far.

Guilty as charged, no grounds for leniency that I can see. I guess she'll testify some more though?

I guess they're going for 2nd degree murder, hoping to get her off of 1st degree. Saying it was a crime of emotion not premeditation.

Is there evidence of premeditation?

someone else commented that the gun shot wounds were inflicted postmortem... i don't know and haven't researched the validity of this particular claim, but if true, it would blow her story away... as she claimed Travis was still coming at her after the gun went off... isn't that part of what she said, today?

you know... it seems arias has been more emotional when recounting her admitted lies to the jury, than she was when describing the moments the actual "incident" [murder] took place.

so, basically, she's sorry she wasn't able to concoct this particular sordid story, sooner?

obviously, she's a pathological liar and guilty as hell... but, thoughts?

A woman charged with killing her lover testified Wednesday that she has no recollection of stabbing him, slitting his throat or even whether she shot him in a fight at his house nearly five years ago.

Jodi Arias, 32, has spent nearly eight days on the witness stand recounting in precise detail one event of her life after another, but when pressed Wednesday about how she killed Travis Alexander, she drew a blank, noting there was a "huge gap" in her memory from that day in June 2008.
She remembers getting in a fight with Alexander, shooting at him as they tussled, putting a knife in the dishwasher and disposing of the gun in the desert as she drove from Arizona to California. Prosecutors say she stabbed him 27 times, slashed his throat and shot him in the head.

"I knew my life was pretty much over," she told jurors, tearfully recalling how she contemplated suicide.
"Do you remember stabbing Travis Alexander?" her defense lawyer asked.

"I have no memory of stabbing him," she said.

Arias said the fight started after she accidentally dropped a digital camera while taking provocative photos of Alexander in the shower of his Mesa home. She said he flew into a rage, body-slammed her and chased her around the house.

Arias said she grabbed a gun from his closet, and that it went off while they tussled. She wasn't sure if it hit him.

"He was angry at me and he wasn't going to stop," she said. "It was like mortal terror."

Prosecutors say she planned the killing in a jealous rage, and friends of the victim have said outside court that she is making up stories about him and his supposed sexual deviance.

Arias is hoping the jury will spare her the death penalty with a conviction on a lesser charge -- or even an acquittal. Prosecutors must prove she planned the attack in advance to secure a first-degree murder conviction and a chance for a death sentence.

Arias changed her story several times during questioning with detectives and during TV interviews after the killing. She initially told police she knew nothing about the killing, then later blamed it on masked intruders. She eventually settled on self-defense. On Wednesday, she was asked why she didn't dial 911 after the killing.

"I was scared. I couldn't imagine calling 911 and telling them what I had just done," she said. "I was scared of what would happen to me."

Arias' inability to remember key facts of the killing stood in stark contrast to her previous testimony on the witness stand. She recalled the type of flavored coffee she ordered at Starbucks, exact dates of sexual encounters and road trips, and in-depth accounts of stories from 10 years ago when she was just a teenager.

But as questioning finally turned to the killing, she recalled very little.

She later explained for jurors how she left Alexander's home and immediately began planning an alibi, leaving a voice mail on his mobile phone and traveling to see a friend in Utah after disposing of the gun in the desert to "throw the scent off for a little while."

"I was just trying to act like myself," she told jurors. "I just wanted to seem like normal, like things were OK, like I didn't just do what I just did."

The more I watch, the more sickened I get by Arias.

If only the Alexander family could be given carte blanche to do with Arias as they so desired... whether it be condemning her to life in prison (no possibility of parole), or something more along the lines of what Jodi did to Travis - death by repeated stabbing, slicing and maybe a bullet or two, all at the discretion of the Alexanders.

The CBS interviews don't make her seem particularly sympathetic.

Yes I guess the gas cans etc. ... maybe there's close to proof beyond reasonable doubt that it was premeditated. And that would be the ballgame then, she might get her expressed wish about dying.

Its a crazy world , but a woman traveling alone across country might not want to stop in strange places for gas.The gun as well would be a good idea for any woman.

It don't prove premeditation of murder. Just premeditation of a trip. Cops always twist the story around... oh she didnt want to be traced..... prove it.

you dont want to be traced by police for using your credit card , but you leave a camera with your photo on it at the scene?....

come on people... if she thought of the gas cans for murder she wouldnt have left so much other evidence.

She's already been locked up more than four years. If she was gonna get in trouble, it would happened already.

She seems normal, even sympathetic. I don't get the growling part. It's just that her story keeps changing!

In the police interrogation she sort of implicated her family, but then maybe she realized that her part alone would have been premeditated murder, so she changed that story. Just a guess, probably wrong.
