I was only 7 and so was my best friend. We were riding our bikes the through the huge field next to our apartment complex when we came across the magical magazine. We sat there for about a half hour in awe as we thumbed through the wrinkled pages. When it was time to go, I suggested we set up some booby traps so nobody could steal the precious.

The next day, we rode back to the spot. The lousy traps were untriggered but the precious was gone. I accused my best friend of telling his older brothers about the precious. After denying it several times he finally admitted to it. I felt so betrayed. Later, we returned to his house to play Nintendo and I forgave him.
