I only shop at wally world when i cant find another outlet(local)for my needs.Really pissed that my small East Texas town let them in,will open in october.

We have three WWorlds within 20 minutes of my location already....damn!...enough already.

All the small mom/pops on main st will be closing down after this BEAST opens.

Another thing that pisses me off is our property taxes are going up because of this new WW coming into town,County cut a deal with them over the road that will connect highway with the parking lot.

$960 thousand the county agreed on for the road,screw wally world!

I have 5 Wal Marts within 20 min of me!!!

Wal Mart and big boxes are the model for how to kill locally owned businesses.

Corporatism sucks. Ask the small farmers..if you can find one.

when a company gets so big that is basically runs your country it needs to fail....they get what they want from our
govt...this is exactly what the founding fathers told us
to and tried to keep this from happening.

The nuclear industry is an example of this.
They pretty much run their own show.

Our local grocery(brookshires)just did a complete re-vamp on their store and put in a drive-through pharm....hope they dont go under,they get the best meats around and buy lots of local veggies.

stock projection earnings.

The ones in Illinois are packed because many of the food items are cheaper than other places.

Most retailers are hurting because people have to put so much more money into their gas tanks.

Thanks to all the protests of the environmentalists and the politically correct, we have no new refineries for decades and every state has its own gasoline formula instead of just one for the whole country.

If gas prices stay as high as they are we can all expect to see many more stores and restaurants closing.

the real warning is that people actually shop at that shithole import nonsense store. the real warnings were americans more concerned with saving a few bucks than saving a future for their kids.
