The Best Swiss Army Knife/Multitool Competition
I submit my favorite, the Victorinox Workchamp XL. It's not too big nor too small and has a very rare lockblade. It has a nice grip and includes the knives and tools that you would actually use. I've used the super sharp saw blade to trim branches from my driveway. What's your favorite?

9teen I think that people who live up North would tell you that a high quality hand axe beats any knife or multi tool hands down.

Well, yeah, you gotta have one of those too.... Upstate New York here. What hand axe would you pick? Might as well add that to the mix....

Never seen a "hand axe" hold a nut while I'm trying to get a bolt out?

let alone being looked at kinda strange while walking down the hall at one of my elementary schools!!!

then the people up north must be...oh wait.. i can seee what you're talking about...canuks?

that explains why someone take a nut off a bolt with a 'hand axe' (otherwise known as a 'hatchet')

that explains why someoone would use a 'hand axe' to carve a fish hook. ..or to to bend a wire or to cut a fence or to take a bottle top off or to open a can or to or to...

canuks?

There's a tool for everything. I've got the knives and multi tools. I wouldn't mind hearing some good advice on hand axes though. Feel free to voice your opinion...

Re: The Best Swiss Army Knife/Multitool Competition
I like the simple victorinox knifes the best, slim and with a few useful tools. Like my old dutch army knife:

I've got a KL83 version, and a KL90 version. This vid shows a KL74 version, but has the same tools.

7491t9 I don't really have enough experience to say. All we have is a regular ole fire man's type that's a bit blunt and used to split firewood.
