This is very cute. It reminded me of when our city
was spray painting large X's on trees they were
going to cut down. A family of squirrels lived
in the one outside our house. I came home from
work one evening to find my daughter, with her
box of paints, carefully painting over the neon
yellow X. I do not have a pic to share but she
matched the bark perfectly and from the street
you could not see the X any more. That tree
remained for another ten years before it was
felled in a storm.
