They were prepared to die. Plus, the area where they fought was hot and humid. My dead never got the smell of death out of his nostrils! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18285363 [ |

The Japanese were a formidable enemy! I think the regular German soldier was a normal human! Whereas, the SS were fueled by drug addiction. The Japanese were raised to fight for their Emperor. He was God on earth. |

It was and still is the greatest threat still to the banking interests, fiat currency, false economics. Hitler was the only one to try and govern by the state the banking system. That was a big no no. Thus he and National Socialism had to go. And then the holocaust became the focal point for Germans born and unborn to inherit the guilt for generations based on a myth. Democracy is and always will be bullshit. 51 percent get their way 49 percent get it up the ass. Fail to Plan! Plan to Fail! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 30370902 United States 02/24/2013 07:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | your premise in your thread title is incorrect. an incident is covered to the extent it affects others. the population density in europe at the time was about 100 times what it was in the pacific. the european theater affected more people. if you or your loved ones lived, fought, or died, in the pacific theater, then you yourself would "cover" the events in the pacific theater more. the european theater would not matter near as much to "you". so, as you can see, your opening question is just not even relevant. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1546575 United Kingdom 02/24/2013 07:43 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Europe and russia was the main event of the show. All out war between countries that had been there for thousands of years. Lots of borders being changed and extended and countries being toppled etc. Yea you got pearl habour attacked by the japs, and then later on the japs kept trying to surrender, but President Truman, badly wanted to use the atomic bomb, practically just to show off to the world and the Russians. which of course you did and the rest is history. And dont forget you took part in the european part of it in the end, so thats even more reason to concentrate on that area. |
