Man flies like a bird -- What would have da Vinci thought?
This has to be man's best display of actually replicating the flight mechanisms of a bird.

Rumored that once he got to maximum altitude he became very frightened and lost control of bowels and pooped all over the windshield of a car.

Senior citizens were attempting to reach the pilot wanting to throw bird seed at him.

Upon landing the pilot was quoted:

" that was 1 small turd for man, 1 giant turd for bird kind"

A lot of people think this is a hoax, but it is absolutely real! Here is one of his videos showing the blueprint and how it is powered:

The man himself admits it was a hoax!

"Now Smeets, or shall we say Floris Kaayk, has admitted it was all an elaborate hoax. Wired reports that Kaayk gave a tell-all interview on a Dutch TV show where he said he is really a filmmaker and animator by trade — not a mechanical engineer as he is described on his blog. He also said that this project was part of an “experiment about online media.”"

Horse shit!!

Zero stability and the wings have no lift properties, and his muscle structure would never support the energy requirement to actually lift him into the air...

People are dumb and beleieve anything they think they see.

Yes it's a fake.
"With an eye made quiet by the power of harmony and the deep power of joy, we see into the life of things." William Wordsworth

And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe—the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God.

John F. Kennedy Inaugural Address

Lincoln's economic advisor Henry C. Carey explained the universal issue in his 1851 Harmony of Interests:

"Two systems are before the world.... One looks to pauperism, ignorance, depopulation, and barbarism; the other to increasing wealth, comfort, intelligence, combination of action, and civilization. One looks towards universal war; the other towards universal peace. One is the English system; the other ... the American system, for ... elevating while equalizing the condition of man throughout the world."

"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." - Albert Einstein

No this is what I think DaVinci would have said:

" O questo uomo è un genio o che ha inserito uno tagliatelle di pasta troppo il naso. Se si tratta di un falso che è ancora un genio in quel campo."

Re: Man flies like a bird -- What would have da Vinci thought?
Is this is a hoax? No one in the hoax camp has offered explanation for how this was done.

Agreed that man doesn't have the energy required to produce enough lift for flight.

But if you take 1 man's energy and store that energy for immediate re release does make flying like a bird extremely possible.

If it's a hoax then offer reasons to support your claim.

Of course it's fake, humans don't have the chest muscles to be able to provide the lift for that and even if they did they wouldn't have any stamina the flight would be over before it started.

Actors would get into robotic assist gear that resembled forklifts with arms and legs. The big fight scene in the movie avatar ?

that technology exist. Pneumatic and hydraulic systems triggered why human responce.

I am happy that a lot of people wanted to dismiss scientific boundaries for a moment and allowed themselves to share the dream with me.
