Minimum wage is basically saying you are worth much less, but this is the least amount I have to legally pay without going to jail.

I have grown up extremely poor and I'm white and it's not better for me, either, They want to keep the poor oppressed. Minimum wage should be at least 16 dollars an hour, its half that and they don't want to hire full time anymore, so not only are you getting half the pay, you're getting half the work, there's no way on earth to live off that. For sure I will be homeless one day unless I prostitute myself to a man I don't love. I don't blame you for thinking the way you do, I would think the same, I'd probably be even angrier.
