SWAT Team Raids Wrong House Terrorizing 78 Year Old Woman

cops say they never went in but then paid for the broken windows. sounds like a load of bullshit to me, not only did they have to pay for the window with taxpayer funds but now they are facing a lawsuit

Shit happens, she'll be ok and I'm sure they'll fix her window.

yea no biggie just swat members in full tactical gear breaking into and damaging a home illegally. we see this happen all of the time and it can be avoided by simply looking at the number on the house.

She must be lucky she wasn't shot.

Nobody has ever claimed that Policemen/women are drawn from the brightest bulbs in the pack.

SWAT types are even more into "shoot from the hip" behavior than regular police types (they love that adrenalin rush that they get by being so "macho") and their bulbs are among the dimmmest of the dim.

Anyway NO suprise about ANOTHER Swat Raid where they couldn't read the address right. Seems to be par for the course for those types of Dim Bulbs.

Would they be charged with manslaughter?

Not all houses are marked clearly and mistakes happen when the paperwork is typed up...shit happens, but why mention how old she is, what difference does that make?

A mouse could scare her or a car backfire too...

age makes no difference but if this were a group of black men armed to the teeth who invaded the wrong house you would scream for them to be hanging from trees, police should not be above the law even though they pretty much are

They didn't shoot or rob anyone, the Negroes would have...and they will fix her window and any damage.

Relax, they did not break in "illegally". They will have had a warrant in any case, and either a) the incorrect address was on the warrant or b) a mistake was made and they hit the wrong house.

In either case, the police were just doing their job. Sure, fucked up and the city will need to pay for the damage, but no laws were broken here.

its called home invasion when you break into someones house and point your gun at them and its not like their captain is paying the bill, its the taxpayer, as usual

Yeah, they fucked up and we pay the bill, but they were going after criminals and that's a good thing...I don't want criminals running free, so mistakes like this are what will happen from time to time as long as there are evil people out there.

its understandable if the wrong address is on the warrant, whoever fucked up at the office should get demoted or something but if they simply hit the wrong house then the police need to be help accountable, we see this happen way too often to just let it go. i remember towards the end of last year 2 people were sleeping in their home when the police used flashbangs and broke down the down. a young girl was injured and the police said ooops and left. ill look for the link

Put blame where it is due, on the criminal that caused this action.

they are both at fault, cops for screwing up n the criminal for making meth

its not that hard to double check, its a simple question and no innocent person gets hurt. criminals are the ones raided not the little old lady with high blood pressure
