Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33898205 It's almost like there's a virus or bug in it. I was talking to my friend and her computer is doing the same thing. I would like to know how many others out there are experiencing this. Windows is the virus. Make sure you have auto updates turned off. |

[link to technet.microsoft.com] Go to 'RUN' on your start menu Type 'regedit' Go to Edit - Find (or cntrl F3) Type remoteaccess as the search string (no spaces) Hit Enter, then F3 to go to all the entries If you see ANYTHING that seems abnormal like 'IMnComputer' or anything that just doesn't look like MS stuff, you have a RAT in your computer. If you do have a RAT in your computer, do a search in your regedit again for 'zonemap' When you get to zonemap, open the folder and click domains, escdomains, P3P which is just above zonemap (and anything else in that area). Keep searching for zonemap and open the same folders again. If you have a RAT, your best shot is to reinstall Windows, follow the procedures for taking out Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop (if you have any), then find out the name of your RemoteAccess .exe and either rename it, delete it or put in a folder that you create and name the folder so you can find it if you ever need remote assistance (yeah right!) Anonymous Coward User ID: 1561325 United States 02/27/2013 02:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I would like to know how many others out there are experiencing this. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33898205 As many people as there are that have a variant of the sasser worm virus on their PC would be my guess. Fun fact - the term 'de-bug' comes from the olden days when computers took up entire rooms. Bugs (literally - flies, bees, gnats, etc) would find their way into the computer and would die. The rotting bug carcasses had a tendency to cause short-circuits if they happened to find their resting place upon an un-shielded circuit. Cleaning out all of the dead bugs from the computer would generally fix all of the weird program glitches there was no explanation for. You very well could be right, OP. Your PC could have a bug in it :) |

Quoting: LOLLIPOP 1334279 do a search on the exact error message Will do, thanks :) If using XP: Open control panel, then open system. Go to the advanced tab. Click on the 'Settings' button in the 'Start-up and recovery' section at the bottom of the window. Under the 'system failure' header, un-check the box next to 'automatically restart'. Now you should have an unlimited amount of time to write down the error message. |

Than I see a message from the fbi they will shut you off from the internet march 1st 2012 if you didn't get the zombies out a your machine. I go, damn. Then I look and see a story how the fbi rerouted dns traffic to their dns servers. I would suspect in all oribability that facility down in utah intercepting all internuty traffic is the cause now for weird shit fritzling the interwebz. |

Click where it says 'Service' and the services will appear in alphabetical order. Scroll down until you see the word "Remote" Next un-select "Remote Desktop" "Remote Assistance" and any other "Remote" ACCEPT all 'Remote Procedure Call' You see to the right of the Remote Procedure Calls is the notation "Yes" in the Essential column "I think, therefore I am..." Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33898205 It's almost like there's a virus or bug in it. I was talking to my friend and her computer is doing the same thing. I would like to know how many others out there are experiencing this. I visited a site www.sandyhoax.cm not to be confused withe sandyhookhoax.com and I think it screwed up my time stamps in my computer. It may also be an https site Iued through naturalnews.com . I used a rlink on their site to access google. Whatever it was my comp screws up . I been running it sor three weeks now though and have to restart once in a while. When I have time I will just scan the hardrive. That will fix any timestamp issue I think. GLP has been running slow too. You know that everythings slowing down these days not just your computer. I turn of active x and disable java most of the time so its pretty hard for anyone to mess with my machine . |

gnomonist User ID: 2021998 United States 08/01/2014 08:57 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | That's what happens when one has a Microsoft computer visiting a monitored conspiracy forum. Microsoft and GLP is about as compatible as an Orthodox Jewish person eating ham. Get a computer that does not need tune-ups, won't slow up or get viruses. To this very day, I don't know why people continue to use Microsoft to surf the web, wonder why they get these problems, and then $pay$ for it yet to boot. People don't want to switch because they are too comfortable with what they have and don't want to learn something new. However, it's far less aggravating to switch than to deal with these problems day in and day out, for every second, minute and hour of the day endlessly. Trust me on that. I like prophecy, conspiracies, mathematics, astronomy, anything relating to time, and I am a gnomonist (look that one up!) |
