For what? Wth? And If it wasn't the airforce plane, why did it avoid landing several times and why were there fire crews standing by? Its a diversion. Like a test to see what they could get away with! :memorybanner: |

The commercial liner footage was from a similar incident in 2010 but the plane did land successfully. Trace had to point that out to Megyn Kelly because she couldn't see it. Quoting: Dr. Lecter The commercial liner footage was from a similar incident in 2010 but the plane did land successfully. Trace had to point that out to Megyn Kelly because she couldn't see it. Live TV is always going to be confusing at times. This was before the JetBlue clip! This was literally a live video, and they showed it was a wingtip fueltank Learjet from the airforce. Then they changed their mind after showing the thing try to land thrice and the fire response crews were there, but they flew to st. Louis... United States Airforce 01437 The plane that was going to land but didn't because of the incoming one? I know exactly what you're talking about. Megyn Kelly thought that one was the plane too, but Trace Gallagher told her no, the nose gear is fine on that one. That plane was rerouted away because of the emergency crews hitting the runway. The plane with the landing gear problem came in shortly after and did land successfully. "Moral of the story is I chose a half measure when I should have gone all the way. Dr. Lecter User ID: 34834122 United States 03/05/2013 03:01 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I saw that, the airforce plane did 2 fly-by's with the landing gear down. I thought it was very weird because this wasn't the plane in trouble. They purposefully distracted the viewers with that airforce plane. They missed the actual landing of the troubled plane, just a shot of it sitting on the runway surrounded with emergency vehicles. Quoting: KipKat It did two fly-by's? I only saw one. That is pretty odd. Last Edited by Mike Ehrmantraut on 03/05/2013 03:02 AM "Moral of the story is I chose a half measure when I should have gone all the way. But yes, they left that airport and went to another after showing emergency crews were preparing for the united states Airforce plane. They even spoke with a pilot!!! Fishy fishy... :memorybanner: |

I didn't catch the first pass of the air force jet. And then, when they were showing the Jet Blue archive video, I was explaining to my wife that they made a mistake by thinking it was the Air Force plane. Yeah... pretty weird.
