When I was in kindergarten, my mom took me to the drive-in theater to watch The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It scared the Hell out of me.

When I was in the first grade, she took me to see Phantasm, and that scared me, too. If you've seen it, you know the Tall-man (Angus Scrimm.) I actually bought a signed autograph from him and sent it to my mom for a Mother's Day present.

Then, when I was in the second grade, I saw The Fog.

There's a long list of these horror movies, but the last one I saw was Stephen King's The Mist. That movie's ending messed my mind up for three days. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't stop thinking about the ending. It was a horror movie, but psychologically disturbing with its ending. I won't spoil it for you and tell you the ending. Just watch it. The ending is unexpected.

Also, does anyone remember this scene from Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2? The scary part starts at around the 6-minute mark, but if you've never seen the movie, you have to watch all 9 minutes to understand who the characters are and why they were singled out to be killed.

The part where she "walks" down the stairs all contorted was some real freaky shit! Still today. They cut that out a lot of the time.
