Hi, I got type 2 diabetes, and I was a long time Pepsi drinker. When I was diagnosed a few years ago and was monitoring my blood sugar, a Pepsi Throwback would elevate it for 30 minutes, then back to normal, but a regular Pepsi would elevate it and keep it there for 2.5 hours. I drink only the throwback now. It is made with sugar and not hfc.

I recently cut out High Fructose corn syrup in my drinks and lost 10 pounds and for a week I was groggy as hell. Pure juice is expensive as Hell. We are all getting priced out of basic staples in America.

I read an article that Mexico uses only cane sugar in all their soft drinks.

I cut out High Fructose Corn Syrup after reading an article about a Woman who died from Coca Cola. She was drinking gallons a day and smoking but it got me thinking, why is this (High Fructose Corn Syrup)being sold at ALL if it has no redeeming value?

What really needs to be done is that people stop depending on others to make decisions and do their thinking for them. Consumers have the power to choose what to buy and consume. They should just stop buying it, and corporations will stop using it in their products. Take responsibility for your health and life. Make good decisions where food products are concerned. The food supply is toxic. Anything else is simply disempowering.

I could not find one bottle of ketchup at my local market without HFCS. I did not buy any but there was NO choice!
