They were especially adept at making and breaking treaties. Genocide .....very good at genocide. Although they did not create the concept of slavery, they certainly contributed to the efficiency of the industry, including the discovery that selling children into slavery was far more cost effective. (I worked with Lebanese Muslim Arabs for six years. During that time, I was fed and gratned use of a car whenever I needed it. If I needed to borrow money, no problem. (I should mention I was a poor scrub back then, but a good poor scrub.) We would have many long conversations debating some of the finer points of Islam versus "other" including my suggestions that Mohammed was manipulated by ETs. I was not beheaded or ostracized or anything. None of their kids were on drugs and the girls were chaste and focused on education, college and family.)
