For whatever reason, they cannot advertise this benefit. Quoting: Watdhel I'm active & it's hot & humid here in LA. Great not having to shave regularly but the no "funk" is the best benefit! I shave my armpits: better hygiene, hence less odour. But as I said, I still need to use something. I don't think you understand, when the area is lasered not only does it kill the hair follicle but also KILLS whatever makes the "funk" smell. Do you get it now? I think we are achieving the same thing by using the baking soda. I tried it again today and I have been in pain all day long. The lady on the video said the irritation lasted three weeks. I guess it takes that long to burn through the skin layers so as to eventually get to the stink glands and cauterize them with the burning fires of hell. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1550123 United States 03/20/2013 05:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | How about washing regularly and keeping your clothes clean. Works for me and I live in Malaysia Quoting: Anonymous Coward 36335373 Thanks Malaysia as I was just telling a friend about my method which is the same as yours and I do not have any body odor (and I have a very sensitive nose). Same with sweating - Advertizers on tv got to people in the 1950s about both odor and sweating. Sweating is the body's natural way of cleansing impurities out and keeping cool in the summer. I used to sweat more when I was young (in varying) places, but it's eased off as I've aged; probably something to do with hormones or lack thereof. Bottom line; good hygiene = no odor. Case closed. I get your point, but I don't agree on that. No matter how clean I am, my armpits CAN smell. Not ultrabad, but still, haha... It depends on the person. I agree with you OP. I have good hygiene, but I can't be by a sink all through the day. If I get nervous, or it is very muggy outside, my pits can get smelly. I am going to try this method. I have tried so many natural deodorants, but I find that I have to keep applying them through the day to stay stink-free. LOL Thanks for sharing, OP! Some people carry a small package of baby wipes to keep them from smelling. Dollar General has a package of flushable baby wipes that smells really good. |

My grandmother was born in the deep south in 1900. Pioneer Florida at that time was without modern plumbing, electricity, refrigeration (you get it) and hot and sultry 7 months of the year. BO was a problem. She used many old time products. She washed first with homemade soap, rinsed in salt water in the winter and vinegar water in the summer. Followed by rinse of baking soda under arms and on her "poonany.". She dusted with talcum powder throughout the day. And everyone "sponged off" again late afternoon. We worked hard days on a tobacco farm all day, we all wilted by then, but no one smelled for long. I was in high school before antiperspirants were invented, so these were popular remedies until the 50s. I still wash my hair with baking soda and vinegar. Then rinse with conditioner. My 63 year old long hair still shiny and clean, soft and straight. |

Sweat releases toxins. ANTI-perspiration keeps in the toxins, not to mention that ithe stuff is full of chemicals that can seep into the sensitive lymph glands and breast area. Anti-perspirant didn't even get popular until the 60's. |
