What he's saying is pretty fucking apparent. You would have to be really closing your eyes tight not to see that.

You and I have two different trains of thought that have been battling since the dawn of humanity.

You take that of a victim, always blaming external sources in every situation.

There very well maybe be a massive agenda at work, but why rob yourself of a good message just because your afraid?

Belief systems aren't a negative thing in every situation.

Who's to say he won't explore other concepts throughout his life?

Conspiracy can ruin minds.

Seeing it for what it is takes more courage than just agreeing with the majority about 'inspiring' new age concepts and belief systems. that has nothing to do with being afraid. People who run with the herd and say what they know will be accepted are the ones who are afraid.

And the absolute truth is..?

Your speaking for a small minority.

The new age movement is just another step up the ladder until complete independence of thought.

As far as i'm concerned, these systems have proved to aide humanity in some aspects to where we are today.

Not to say there haven't been awful repercussions.

Belief systems are prisons to the mind. Replacing one concept with another is still imprisonment. All belief systems are man manufactured. It keeps you unaware of reality.
It's the most liberating thing to drop all belief systems.

Anybody who gives you a belief system is your enemy. The belief system becomes the barrier for your eyes that you cannot see the truth.
Belief systems are nothing by crutches to stay in ego mind and keeps you from the open minded experience of truth and intuition.

At the moment you are on the path of finding out since you are asking that question.

They have also caused a lot of damage.

Belief systems are a sign that humans are trying to push and expand their understanding of themselves and this reality.

Your looking at nothing but negative aspects of belief.

Society wouldn't exist without belief systems.

You also have a belief system whether you admit it or not. The fact that others think like you makes it a system.

Your making a claim with no basis.

A sign of expansion towards the grasping of truth would be the fearless dropping of all belief systems, dropping the manufactured grid and safety net to find out what really IS.

Then you reach knowing. Knowing goes beyond belief.

You are right, I really don't know what anyone else is really thinking, good point. I really do respect your opinions here, and agree with you that I am not special, you can be just like me if you decide to open your heart, I hope you will.

Very true.

But humans are creatures of habit.

And habit dictates that if we all put our minds together we can probably figure this out. Thus you have your belief systems.

I hope that we reach the point that you stated earlier. Where every one can shed that shell and reach knowing.

But as a whole, we're not there yet. And this 'New Age' is just one more step towards that goal.

I don't find him bitter at all. He's just gotten a bit impatient with people's gullibility. Nothing wrong with that. he says what he thinks without worrying if people take it the right way.

habit keeps people stuck. you have to train yourself to do things differently each day, to take another route to work, to sit in a different place at the dinner table sometimes, to try out new things and not to be controlled by habit. that keeps your mind flexible and open.
Habits, especially societal habits don't help us figure out anything, That's just herd mentality.

Again the belief system keeps people stuck and narrows their world they live in and experience. People are control freaks. They try to impose belief systems on each other. That leads to separation, fighting and war.

New age is a bit of a rip off the truth and knowing. You can find truth in the different movements but mostly people get lost because the new age heads who lead different movement are usually complete idiots and very often economically motivated.

If you search for truth, look into the ancient scriptures and meditate.

I can't tell you what is. Everyone has to get it themselves. All that is there to help are pointers. You have to get it yourself.

christians are conviced they know, but usually they recite bible verses and follow biblical guidelines without really knowing why other than believing if they don't they will burn in hell. that's not knowing.

Some are still dominated by the more primitive aspects of humanity. The herd mentality is a prime example of this.

What your proposing is evolution of these types.

Now I'm all for it, but if the individual isn't ready for such a drastic shift of nature, then it will end poorly for said party.

Patience and support for the believers is essential.

Without that we'll be stuck in our current situation of cavemen living alongside buddhas.

it may not be 100% knowing but there is plenty of evidence its closest to truth plus why risk your essence to damnation, confusion or torture in the afterlife...

Once the kid gets his first blow job, he'll have a much better understanding.

Most people are not ready for the shift. they will not deviate from the herd mentality. They are protected by their ignorance and will just take longer to take a step out of that mentality, maybe many lifetimes.
They just need to sleep a little longer, let them sleep for if they get woken up against their will, too harshly and too quickly, they will go into shock.

it's safer for them to remain with the herd for a while, until they start to feel stupid about it or find it unbearable and then they start to ask questions and look for ways out and for ways to grow.

Waking up and droping belief systems is not easy. it takes courage, it's actually even dangerous, very dangerous to the Ego ;)
