If it was 100% good for a relationship with the holy spirit - the media would NEVER promote it in a positive light. Yet, look at the reality? Most of actors and musicians that have sold their souls to the military industrial complex promote and use marijuana.

The good guys in a movie often smoke J's. It's almost always put in a comical "oh..it's not so bad..hehehe" sense.

Again, if it was really, genuinely good for you -- that would be the last thing they would do..

From my own personal observation, I've always noticed that people who smoke in large quantities\all the time - have many idols. They look up to a lot of people in the media. They are 'fans' of other people.

They find answers through other people.


With that said, I do think there are some potentially positive benefits to marijuana - I think it should even be decriminalized. Religion\Holy Spirit\etc etc should have no discussion on that -- that's just my own personal belief.

I don't think God intended for weed to be evil. I think its a spiritual tool meant to be used but not abused. Smoking every day is obvious abuse.

Weed affects with your autonomic system which forces you to rely more on reflexes and intuition. With the right discipline for it's use, being high can reap some real cathartic moments.

If you are not sure, err on the side of sobriety. Christ commands us to walk in vigilance. Weed makes you loose, open, hazey in the mind. Can you differentiate between the holy spirit and a demonic spirit in that state of mind? Satan would love you to start smoking a little more weed, and a little more, and a little more...

Yes, there is nothing worse to understanding life than having an open mind. Anyone who says otherwise must be under the control of Satan.

In spiritual marriage, there should be NONE of any earthly attachment, including weeds.

I have noticed, when i did quit weed in periods all hell broke loose in my head, as if i had stored up some shit,then i smoked again and was like putting a lid on something, but we must go through the mental inquisition it seams when we stop, on the good end i can say it gets better and the mind looses one little acurser at a time, but yea mental mayhem and spiritual, as we open doors to stuff we close again when we stop, but alot of foots in the door, so takes a while to close, ive considered suicide everyday for 10 years or so but its allmost not there anymore, maybe thats just me, i dont think i can blame the weed for that, the longing for some kind of escape or something.

I was told that the Bible speaks of many don'ts such as Pharmacia and drunkenness etc. but not Pot. I don't think it fits into Pharmacia so as it is not created as a derivative and is natural. If you've picked alcohol as a alternate vice then you've gone the wrong way. Alcohol, the most dangerous drug of all time. Add anxiety... but keep in mind some people never actually 'hallucinate'. Rumination can result in the same symptoms.

At least in my experience, that's been the best way to see it. I was high almost every day from high school through most of my 20's and that amount tends to make one into the typical pothead.

When I stopped and only smoked one day for every 4-6 weeks of being sober, I had the most amazing highs and could consider a lot of things with a more humble perspective. Now, I smoke two or three times a year just to "refresh" and look deeper at all the dumb things that stress me out.

As George Carlin once said, it's a "self-ending" drug. Because of the way you see things when you're high, it allows you to say to yourself "Hey, I smoke too much weed". There aren't many things in life that offer that type of insight.

well i vent through the 7th also and barely got back
But i am just saying its so total insane and i duno i just dont wish for anyone to go there, if the way out is down if you know what i mean.

In fact weed, what we called grass long ago, or any kind of drug, or anything that distort your consciousness will only open you up to the many evil spirits that can and will possess you and make you feel like you are having a real "good" time.

But you are really far from the Holy Spirit then and closer to the negative and evil spirits.

They are all around and wait for us to open that door for them.
