No....The democrats are collecting every minority...blacks, gays, mexicans, poor....and giving them everything they want for free...this buys votes....

I saw Ann Coulter once argue with a Canadian TV host saying that Canada FOUGHT IN VIETNAM with the US.

All the Canadian TV host could do was sit there, mouth open, as she spewed spewed and spewed about how HE was wrong and Canadian Troops fought side by side with the US in Vietnam. (for you youngun's Canada did not only NOT fight in Vietnam, it gave legal sanctuary to thousands of US draft dodgers who left the US instead of being drafted)

After watching that video exchange I lost all respect for Ann Coulter. She is so dumb she doesn't even realize that she is dumb.

Why anybody allows her to SPEW forth her stupidity is beyond me. There ARE educated conservatives out there who know what they are talking about (and know history), but Ann Coulter is NOT one of them.

Wipe the books clean and start all over with fresh blood. The Tea Party is too week. The thing that is wrong with the republic party is the whole concept that they need to "appeal to everyone" and be a "big tent" and broaden our base by becoming more "moderate".

We already saw what happens when you nominate moderates like McCain and Romney. They get their asses kicked.

The party needs to reaffirm it's CORE VALUES. It needs to stop trying to appeal to democrats. We need to stop listening to the democrats who tell us we need to be more moderate because they do not have the party's best interest in mind.

The republican party also needs message discipline. They're contradicting each other all the time. Republican representatives and senators come out and publicly bash one another (McCain calling Paul and Cruz "wacko birds" and dozens of other such examples). The democrats don't do that. Ever.

The democrats constantly reaffirm their main points. Whenever a democrat senator comes out and says something he's saying exactly what the president said the day before, and whenever the president says something he's reaffirming what a senator said. The democrats have that part down, people, and the republicans are just looking like petty, disorganized idiots that don't have a united goal, core values, or any real view for what America and/or society should be.

The dems have a "party". The republicans have a loose confederation of folks that have an "R" beside their name, but not much else in common and those "R"s seem more than happy enough to demonstrate that day in and day out.

I have hope though that people like Rand Paul (despite his psuedo-amnesty immigration stance) and Cruz will be able to re-energize the party and bring it back to the point where we can actually win elections.

Most registered republicans I know, myself included, are so disillusioned with the party we only remain registered because to switch to the libertarian party will only help the democrats. We don't consider ourselves "republicans" otherwise. Hopefully there will be a day soon where we can proudly say we're republicans and belong to a proud, strong party with a clear, united vision for the future.

Politicians do not care about us and are not our friends.... Voting is essentially useless as they all play for the same team and it's NOT your team....
