Follow christ's example as he was being arrested. Peter tried to fight back, but was met with "those who live by the sword, die by the sword". Love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you, turn the other cheek etc.

Yes. You must defend yourself and your family against the evil ones. You have been conditioned to believe that you should not and can not by Satan and his demons. Satan will win an easy victory if you do not defend yourselves. Satan can not win if you fight.

God has sent legions of warring angels to aid us against Satan. They are here. Trust in Him.

Use the brain God gave you. He wants you to fight against evil. For instance, God had the Jews kill the Canaanites. It's not like God never sent his people into battle against evil.

The history has been forgotten about the brave souls who when the battle lines were drawn were smart enough to just pack up and leave.
