There's no need for them to go after our savings in a full-frontal assault. They are already bleeding that money away from us at the gas station and at the grocery store. Be mindful of the fact that "Obamacare" has been declared a "tax." And so now, we have, in effect, TWO income taxes.

They are stealing your savings as we speak. Currencies worldwide are being devalued by QE and other respective cash printing scams in the guise of helping mr. and mrs. Joe Public.
They know full well the ramifications of "printing" an excess of currency and yet gleefully they print. An outright advertised theft from savings accounts such as the situation in Cypress could not occur in the U.S. IMO. However they do have ways of robbing you blind, and most will embrace these covert Stimulus Packages.

I have no savings, so NEVER! It's all I can do to live paycheck to paycheck LOL

this...Bernanke even said this in a speech before he was chairman...i think he even said 40%...but regardless, should still be enough to start the next civil war.

Critics have suggested that it isn't safe or prudent to keep money in your home. But truthfully, is it safer or more prudent to keep it in a bank? Hell, the banks have been resisting withdrawals for a year here.

There is no reason to do so anymore. There used to be interest added if you had a savings account or bought CD's...now, the rates for the depositor are a fucking joke. With this threat, you are better off keeping it for yourself.
