Yes, they are doing both for Spring Break. Beach, then mountains. Money's no object when it doesn't cost them anything. Glad his kids are enjoying such an amazing spring break. Mine are home alone all day while we work and try to keep up with bills. Like I said in another post, this POS POTUS does everything he can to stir the pot. I truly would laugh if I heard both of his kids ran head first into trees, got bit by sharks or befell other horrible events on their little tax-payer funded vacations.

Lucky girls...a vacation dream. Though I personally would have skied first and then gone to the islands to thaw.

I love skiing, even though I'm sure they spent a zillion dollars on it, Im ok with them skiing.

I consider it a life-skill, although I imagine they didn't actually learn much.

I went skiing vacation several times, for less then 500 euro. There ski trip must have costed tons.

Try sending your family members all over the globe on their own for vacations every month and sending your employer all the bills for every penny of the deluxe holidays.

I love that the Ds keep going back to Bush and his family. Its not about Bush or vacations in general. What it's about is our local airport control tower being closed and 5 controllers being laid off because of a decrease to the INCREASE in spending. And while we're laying off tax payers, the man who dreamed up this sequester joke, sends his daughters not on just one, but two spring break trips along with all of the requesit secret service contingent. I don't think the freakin Queen of England would be brazen enough to do that. Now, Sadam Hussein would have done it as would many other 3rd world dictators.

I seem to remember less than 1 week a year. I also remember Bush not playing golf with troops deployed. I'd like to see any data you have on his Bush's daughters.

I do not remember George W. Bush's daughters taking this many vacations and if they did, at a huge cost to the American tax payer, then you can bet it would be all over the media about how many millions George W. Bush spent on personal expenses for vacations for them. The media would not stop harassing them if the behaved like the Obamas and it would not exactly be wrong for them to question why the Obamas take so many vacations at such a high expense to the American tax payer. The Obamas may be millionaires in their own right but they are not spending their own money on these trips.

A curse on the Obamas for spending millions like this while Americans suffer because of their decisions. THis behavior will come back to hurt the Obamas.

At least the Bushes went home and vacationed mostly in the states or at their own home.
