Secrets of Pendulum Dowsing: How to find whatever you seek (Divination for beginners)

In your case, it seems like you have let something "else" take over your pendulum than your own intuition. In other words, it seems you have been affected by external energies / entities. This can happen with anything in life, some people experience "automatic writing" due to same reasons. This does not mean the pencil is dangerous, or a tool for demonic possession, any more than a pendulum. Technically, there is no difference between using a pencil or a pendulum, its just what you use it for, and how you use it that makes the difference.

You should do cleansing and purification meditations and rituals for yourself and your area, to get rid of unwanted energies, and make sure you connect your pendulum with your own Higher Self and Intuition.

Something definitely took over, no doubt! I did all that you said, and then some. I think it may have left me, but the pendulum still lies, but it does admit it will not answer questions correctly.

I agree with Solar, it was definitely not you in control of the pendulum, but most likely some negative entity.

Do areas that have magnetic qualities differ from those that don't, in example tree or plant growth, animal life, water flow?

All areas differ from each other, for example by what they consist of such as the examples you just mention, plants, animals, water, etc.

The difference with a magnetic area however is that is seem to have a deeper impact on the mind and astral body / biological energy system.

This can be both positive or negative, depending on the situation, and the amount of the magnetic force.

Can u give an example of a place that has a good magnetic force?

Amaru Muru in Peru for example, and many other ancient sites around the world. The poles of Earth. But they really are all over and you can find them by dowsing around in your own area, often out in nature is a good place to look.

I have yet to see, but from reading the title i had to post a small synchonicity for myself because it has to do with pendulum. I have a crystal pendulum and back 2-3 years ago, i used to ask questions (holding it) id choose left or right for (yes,no) and it would answer me pretty accurately.. I think they are awesome. :)Its been awhile since i've tried. Might do it again when i am a bit more centered. hehe.

Hi Edward; cool subject! You can have a lot of fun playing with a pendulum, but I wouldn't make any serious decisions based only on a pendulum.

I once had an employee who was stealing, and I had no way of knowing which one it was, so I used a pendulum and got a very clear answer as to which one. So I was going to fire the guy but decided to wait til the next day. So the next day I still wasn't sure, so I asked again... again the pendulum said it was him.

Long story short, my intuition won out over the pendulum and I DIDN'T fire him. And found out later that the pendulum was dead wrong...


Since then, I've found that you get more accurate readings if you use something that's already attuned to your energy, like for example, some jewelry that you wear a lot. I use my wedding ring, because I've worn it 24/7 for over 10 years. It's the most accurate thing I've found yet.

Also helps to drink a full glass of water a few minutes before, because water is a great conductor of psychic energy.

You can use these tips in your book if you like. ;)

Yes, thats some good tips. Also, one should not let ones pendulum into the hands of others. Keep it well guarded, and dont show it around. Only take it out when you are going to use it. This will keep it from being influenced by the energies of others and maintain more "pure".

The same goes for all "magical" tools, such as tarot decks, healing crystals, and any other item you use for spiritual and magical work. Keep your tools sacred, and guarded.

Thanks for the book. Just been reading it and I have a question. When you are programming the pendulum, you are telling it "clockwise is yes" or whatever. Would it be appropriate to say "show me which way is yes"? I mean, just in case "it" has a better idea..

Yes, you can do it any way that feel natural and comfortable for you. There are not specific rules. Ask it to show you a "yes", and then a "no", and you got it the way thats best for you.

^^Really. Had my doubts until my teacher found a water well 8,200 ft in the mtns using a dowsing stick. 40 years later the well still produces water..gets low during droughts..otherwise, since he did it and is one of those you just trust so yeah. I feel silly doing it myself but maybe I'll read up on what OP has written on this.
