Anonymous Coward User ID: 6655839 United States 04/06/2013 01:39 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Is the US thinking like 1939 Germany that they can sweep out the world? Is this why all the gun control crap so people will get guns in response knowing if their plan falters the US mainland could get invaded? If the common German citizen was armed back in 1945, the citizens would have forced very costly house to house combat that could have lasted for decades because there was no detection technology back then. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3579277 What if he doesn't have that record? Do any of you lot in North America know if this bloke is reliable? If he's not reliable, then all this is guff. The Chinese see the North Koreans as their blood brothers - if the US made a pre-emptive strike against the NK, then you would find the Chinese would become very antagonistic towards the US. It would change the world dichotomy so much. If I were the Americans I'd wait to take the hit. I agree. I don't know what fool on the CJCS is advising Obama to do a pre emptive strike. God I hope the brass suddenly did not get shit for brains. |

R.P. McMurphy User ID: 34834122 United States 04/06/2013 02:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What concerns me most about this entire issue is our lack of leadership. Obama = hates the military and looks down on them. Kerry = hates the military and has snitched them out. Napolitano = Angry lesbian who hates the military. These are the type of people who will commit our forces to something big... and then leave the troops asses hanging in the breeze while they pontificate the possible political outcomes. Now do you see why all the big brass has left/retired in the last year or so? I'm sure glad I've done with my service. At least I could trust my commanders decision making abilities back then. That's it. Period. However, one must be cognizant of the fact that the U.S. must give the appearance of countering any possible "threat"....meaning, there are resources and assets being transmitted to the east. The point being: accidents do happen. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 32281494 United States 04/06/2013 06:52 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Let us not forget, the President cannot go to war without a declaration of war from Congress. Are we still at war with North Korea? The President can call a strike, without a declaration of war, if there is a threat of imminent danger to the United States and no time for Congress to convene. The question is, how much of what we hear in the media is true? If Kim Jun Un has moved missles in position to strike the US isn't that a threat? My guess is, we wil take out those sites. Why woulnd't we? The bad thing is, the only people who get to eat in NK are those in the military. Kim has quite a large army behind him. How do we disable his army? |
