You have more cops looking for this guy than we have in the entire country. Twice as many as we can have operative in a crisis. If it gets bigger it's home defense time. Now sure we did take our time in that little dingy getting to Breivik, but we got him before sundown. This guy is supposedly wounded too, so we have a bleeding runner in a 10000:1 race, and he's winning. Ever heard of a dog? No, roll in the tanks and some new tech instead and let's play around instead.

Oh well while they wondered if the suspect was inside that house or not, but he was actually still running, at least they should have the area covered so he can't have risked moving big distances. He should still be around, but with the likely unmanageable scale of the police operation, he could probably be right under their noses.

A friend joked earlier he had walked out dressed as cop, just like in the movies. I laughed it off, then I realized the (and excuse the expression) big troll chasing him is both too dumb and blind to actually notice the world immediately around it. That house they suddenly got their attention, it was in an area they thought had been cleared right? That's why they suddenly had to move families away from that area after moving them there in the first place. But yeah, there probably were personnel on the scene aware that house was still a risk, but that never got through to logistics.

It would not surprise me if somewhere in the system there is a post-it someone forgot that says suspect positively identified hijacking vehicle heading..... There are a lot of post-its forgotten it seems. Wasn't there one on Sept11 too? And we had one July 22nd, it said push big button. No one did, ego within the police, thus helicopters with snipers trained for this kind of thing, you know oil exploration at sea and stuff, that had their crew suited up and rotors running, never took off. Instead we got the chaos patrol and the only air coverage was one media helicopter. Breivik almost surrendered to it too. Had there been two military choppers, it would have been over in 20 minutes. I say we ban post-its and go back to the stone tablets. No one ever lost those.

Now we have to hear on scanner about the caterers coming in to feed the cops? This is getting uninteresting very quickly.
