Was martial law declared in Boston?
Let's forget about all the conspiracy theories surrounding the Boston Marathon but address the simple question above.

Martial law may have been declared and I simply did come across the news blurb stating such, or it may have been "declared" but simply not talked about or verbalized as such by the authorities. But since the search for the supposed bomber involved door to door searches, which presumably violated the 4th amendment, I would think that martial law was in effect at the time just not stated as such.

Obama caved on FISA his first election go-around. He also continued the process of rendition and maintained Guantanamo.

What makes you think he would give two turds if a warrant were necessary to burst down your door and point a machine gun in your child's face?

Cuz they just did.

That's fair enough, but it doesn't answer the question of whether martial law was actually declared. It certainly could have been.

Outside of martial law, or its Boston equivalent, one would think law suits would be pending. Even dumbed down sheep crave money.

Declared?

Wtf is 'declared' supposed to mean or not mean?

Fact of the matter is that it was.

Plain and simple.

I agree "declared" is ambiguous, but "declared" as in *legally* declared.

Re: Was martial law declared in Boston?
wars and martial law arent declared anymore

they are just done

the national guard was doing searches door to door in violation of the 4th amendment

it was a limited geographical area, and maybe only a couple a hundred houses, but it was nonetheless martial law

Some of those cowards should have resisted. I would have.

I will be surprised if this response actually posts. None of my previous attempts to respond have been successful.

I appreciate your comments and I think they all posted. If not I think certain words might trigger censorship but I'm not sure.

Thanks again.

Thanks; though they were not. I believe you are right. I tried posting one response like 3-4x and nothing appeared. Must have been one of those certain words. *eyeroll

IIRC it's up to the state governor to declare martial law. Could he have done that secretly? I suppose so.
