It's about as relevant. Quoting: Chip Not necessarily, I do not believe any president before the Iranian Hostage crisis had much concern with Islamic terrorist or any terrorist for that matter. So no, I believe my reference to George Bush is a little more relevant than Thomas Jefferson. |

Bush was still in the White House, he would be on his fourth term, and a worse dictator than the present occupant of the Oval Orifice... "And how can a man die better than facing fearful odds, for the ashes of his fathers, and the temples of his Gods..." ~ Horatius "Because he told the truth, and once you've heard the truth, everything else is just cheap whiskey..." "We don't rent pigs!" |

Quoting: Saddletramp I guess I should have gave the thread a different title. I meant to discuss if Bush were facing the dilemmas during his presidency that are in present in today's world. |

Quoting: Krystal I miss the Bush family in the White House...I miss his leadership. Exactly, I feel Americans are skeptical because we have no backbone in Washington. Miss him like a trusted uncle.. Not into the brother though..stopped with W. Last Edited by ceawaves on 04/29/2013 09:01 PM |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 4135612 United States 04/29/2013 09:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why? Because I simply asked what actions people think we would be taking with Bush in the white house instead of Obama. Any answer is completely theoretical and complete speculation but isn't everything on this website? |

The situation would be no better or worse than it is now regardless of who occupied the current presidency. The reality is that the ruling elites dictate the choices present in society and we make those choices based on survival instinct as well as centuries of brainwashing idealism. The problem is the current financial/petrochemical system which is a global issue. Until we have the ability to perceive an alternate solution/end goal, this problem will persist. |
