What if George W. Bush Was Still In The White House

At least with Bush we knew if someone messed with us we would at least strike back. I believe the Obama administration is to apprehensive. We shall see because there are too many shit storms brewing in the world to not have something spark up.

Not necessarily, I do not believe any president before the Iranian Hostage crisis had much concern with Islamic terrorist or any terrorist for that matter. So no, I believe my reference to George Bush is a little more relevant than Thomas Jefferson.

I'll give you that, Obama has definetly beefed up the security at home but I'm not sure if that is what I want.

I guess I should have gave the thread a different title. I meant to discuss if Bush were facing the dilemmas during his presidency that are in present in today's world.

They're both different sides of the same dirty coin!! The situation would be no better or worse than it is now regardless of who occupied the current presidency. The reality is that the ruling elites dictate the choices present in society and we make those choices based on survival instinct as well as centuries of brainwashing idealism.

The problem is the current financial/petrochemical system which is a global issue. Until we have the ability to perceive an alternate solution/end goal, this problem will persist.
